Thanks toTangerineToad on Twitter for directing me to this article: How to make facebook useful again. Guess I am not entirely the right generation or just don't have enough time to delve into this although I certainly will try out some of the things mentioned in the article.
I admit to being recently rather charmed an cheered by Facebook as a result of postings of school pictures from about 25-30 years ago! Even funnier was the resulting time-shifted commentary from the same people in the photo but spanning several continents. It was a form of enjoyment from social interaction which would never have been possible without Facebook. I honestly don't think I would ever have spoken to many of these folks again. If you've added me as a friend, then you can check out the photos and spot me. This week I LOVE Facebook. Next week, who knows ? :-)
